§ Frequently asked
- Do you work with companies that have already started an AI implementation?
- Yes. Discovery is useful at any stage. The question isn't whether you've started — it's whether you've named the right constraint and built on solid data. An existing implementation that's stalled is a common starting point.
- What industries do you work in?
- Manufacturing, distribution, logistics, industrial services, and professional services. The common thread is operations-heavy businesses where the work is physical, sequential, and dependent on people making decisions in real time.
- How long does a typical engagement take?
- Depends on the scope. A Roadmap Sprint is two weeks. A full Discovery + Strategy engagement runs eight to twelve weeks. Fractional Chief AI Officer (CAIO) engagements start after a completed Discovery.
- Do you work with companies outside the US?
- Yes. I'm based in Portugal and travel on-site for client engagements worldwide. Remote fieldwork is also available for organizations where on-site visits aren't feasible.
